This flexible system is suitable for hard and soft suspension balancers that measure in one or two planes. The unit can be permanently calibrated so setup is both fast and easy. Once rotor dimensions is inputted and when required tooling compensation is carried out. The job data are stored to enable rapid recall when required in future. The UNI-25 can also be supplied with unique ‘matrix calibration’ data which eliminates ‘cross-over’ on soft bearing machines or hard machines with special requirements.
The real time digital display makes correcting unbalance simple. The LCD display shows the amount and angle of unbalance in real time. Operators simply need to rotate the part by hand until the angle meets the correction position and then remove or add the stated weight eliminating any guess work.
Typical machines suitable for the UNI-25 are dynamic horizontal (end or belt drive), single plane or dynamic verticals, horizontal spindle and 2 plane propshaft and crankshaft balancers.
